1. While searching for a phrase use quotations. When you use quotation marks around a phrase, you are telling the search engine to only bring back pages that include these search terms exactly how you typed them in-order.
Eg. "a beautiful mind"
2. When you're not sure on the word to be used for your search, but then you know an alternate word which has the same meaning then you can use the ~ symbol.
Eg. if you search ~vehicle, the results will be about cars, bikes and other vehicles.
3. how now *cow - results will have pages containing words how now cow separated by one or more words
4. site: imdb.com "The beautiful mind" searches the words inside the double quotation in the described site alone(imdb.com in this case)
5. For avoiding the adult content in the search use safesearch:
6. info: www.problogger.com displays the information about the blog.
7. To restrict the search to a specific file type use filetype:
8.To restrict the search to a specific domain use site:.edu or .org... also to restrict the search to a country use the site:.(country code) eg. site:.in for restricting search within India.

hi buddy :) atlast! :)
good posts! but keep an eye on your posting frequency. if you have many posts, post them rhythmically...not like 5 posts in one day and no posts for 10 days :)
the mirage does it :) and it's effective! i too have to do the same thing :)
